Countdown to breakdown
Hey there lads!
Say hello to my current obsession, Lions! The album I am going to share with you today is No Generation, released in 2007.
The album kicks off in style, knocking you back with a dark dose of string-fueled dissonance. As it unfolds, Lions seem to branch out a lot and experiment with plenty of different sounds but still manage to secure the distinguished composure and appeal of every damn song. Each of them is loaded with raw emotion and awesome hooks.
While I do not think anyone can claim that their sound is unique or revolutionary in any way, I believe that they mix their influences remarkably well.
